We have an exciting opportunity for a Administrator to join our Administration team at HMP YOI Werrington, a Young Offenders Prison located in Staffordshire.

HMP Werrington is a  Young Offenders Institution (YOI) for boys and young men between the ages of 15 - 18. We re recruiting for a part time administrator to support with the soon running of the healthcare team.    Hours

Monday - Friday

0900 - 1445 Salary

This position is part time youll receive an annual salary up to;

Part time (pro rata salary) - Up to £28.574 per annum Full time (Full time equivalent salary) - Up to £20,001 per annum How will we support you?

Bespoke induction, including our Introducing Health in Justice training course

Competency framework

Regional and national career development opportunities

Our bespoke Learning Management System to address your learning needs

Support from the wider team

Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.

Main duties of the job

As an Administrator your responsibilities will vary. You will

  • Contribute to the delivery of administration services, to the healthcare team on site
  • Work within a busy team, completing a variety of administrative tasks.
  • Working on SystmOne
  • Booking appointments.
  • Dealing with referrals.
  • Registering patients with Gp's on release.
  • Organising gate passes for visitors
  • Attending meetings and taking minutes
  • Other general admin duties
