Job summary

If you are looking for an exciting new challenge Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust (LSCFT) which is a Specialist Mental Health and Community NHS Foundation Trust in the North West, is the place for you.

We are currently looking to recruit a Health, Safety and Security Officer on a permanent basis.

The post holder will manage and monitor Health, Safety and Security across the Trust and be responsible for ensuring that Trust sites meet all statutory health and safety requirements.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will advise on all aspects of Health, Safety and Security with regards to LSCFT premises under the direct control of LSCFT Estates & Facilities and liaise with landlords to ensure safe working environments within shared / leases premises as well as providing advice, support, guidance and assurance to Networks.

The post holder will need to be flexible in order to attend all Trust environmental, ligature and security audits and any other requirements in support of service delivery for the department. Due to the nature of the risks involved with this role, it is very fast-paced and requires a proactive, self-motivated and keen individual.
