Join our Integrated Sexual and Women's Health Service in Bridgend as a skilled and compassionate Sexual Health Practitioner. This exciting role offers direct clinical involvement across Sexual and Reproductive Health, including contraception, sexual health, termination of pregnancy, and women's health services. You will use your specialist knowledge to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care in both clinic and community settings. Working autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will help develop, implement, and maintain service standards while supporting positive patient outcomes. Main duties of the job

The post holder has direct clinical involvement and will be an experienced practitioner in Sexual & Reproductive Health e.g. Contraception & Sexual Health (ISH) /Termination of Pregnancy, Women's Health. The post holder will possess specialist knowledge and skills relating to these areas of work.

The post holder will be responsible for the development, implementation and delivery of quality care within the scope of agreed standards within the Integrated Sexual/Women's health Services, both in the clinic and community setting.

The post holder will be an autonomous practitioner and able to work as part of a team in all areas within the service provision.

This post is advertised as Welsh Desirable. Whilst the candidate doesn't need to have skills in Welsh, we'll consider it an advantage when short-listing and selecting candidates. This isn't 'fluency', just Speaking & Listening skills at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2) or above. Level 3 means being able to communicate in Welsh during routine clinical situations, such as welcoming patients, discussing straightforward aspects of their care and answering routine questions. If you're comfortable holding everyday conversations in Welsh, we encourage you to apply.
