Main duties of the job

As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Clinical Practitioner at Operose Health, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exemplary primary care. Your primary responsibilities will include providing comprehensive patient care, from initial assessments to diagnosis and treatment. The role demands safe clinical decision-making and expert care provision. Collaboration is key; you'll work alongside the general practice team to address patient needs while supporting the implementation of policies and procedures. We expect our practitioners to have experience in a Primary Care setting and be NMC registered, ideally with advanced practice credentials. A minor injury and illness qualification is essential, and a level 7 (MSc) qualification is preferred, though accreditation towards ACP status is acceptable. Main Responsibilities: As a valued member of the Operose Health team, your key duties will include:

  • Provide care for presenting patient from initial history taking clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care.
  • You must demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnosis skills for patients within the general practice.
  • You will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of the patients, supporting delivery of policy and procedures and providing nurse leadership as required.

Ideal Candidate: What we look for in new colleagues:

  • Experience in a Primary Care setting.
  • NMC registered nurse with advance clinical practice tor working towards non-medical prescriber.
  • Minor injury and illness qualification essential and the ability to maintain and monitor standards of care
  • It is preferred that the ideal candidates is a level 7 (MSc) Practitioner, although candidates with accreditation or a MSc course to ACP status may also be considered.
