Job summary

At The Horder Centre, were known for delivering exceptional orthopaedic care and were looking for a compassionate, motivated Registered Nurses to join our Inpatient Ward Bank team. This is a fantastic opportunity to build your skills and knowledge in a specialist environment where quality, kindness and collaboration shape everything we do.

This role requires availability on days, weekends, bank holidays, and some night shifts (enhanced rates of pay are offered for these periods), with a base rate of £21.14 per hour.

Main duties of the job

As a Registered Nurse, youll be at the heart of the patient experience. From admission through to recovery, youll deliver safe, highquality, individualised care while working closely with consultants, therapists and fellow nurses to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Your role will be varied, rewarding and impactful, including:

  • Providing outstanding nursing care using a holistic, patientcentred approach
  • Supporting and guiding junior nurses and new starters, helping them thrive
  • Taking part in audits, research and service improvement initiatives
  • Playing an active role in emergencies and outofhours duty nurse cover
  • Ensuring the highest standards of infection control, safeguarding and professional practice

Youll be someone who brings both clinical excellence and genuine compassion to your work. Youll enjoy working as part of a close-knit team and feel proud of the care you deliver.

  • NMC registration and a UKrecognised nursing qualification
  • A positive, caring and proactive approach
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working within a multidisciplinary team
  • A desire to develop your skills and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Orthopaedic experience (desirable, but not essential)

Contract: Bank

Salary: £21.14 per hour, plus enhancements for evening, night, weekend and Bank Holiday shifts
