Job summary

Mullion & Constantine Group Practice is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Quality Administrator to join our team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract.

This is a key role within the practice, supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care through the accurate maintenance of clinical records, management of patient recall systems, long-term condition administration, clinical coding, and rota coordination. The successful candidate will work closely with both clinical and administrative colleagues to support service delivery, patient safety, and quality improvement initiatives across the practice.

Whilst this post is being offered on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave, candidates should be aware that opportunities for continued employment may arise during or at the end of the contract. Any such opportunities would be subject to service requirements and vacancy availability at the time.

Main duties of the job

The Data Quality Administrator will be responsible for maintaining accurate patient records, supporting clinical coding, managing patient recalls, and assisting with long-term condition administration. The role will also involve running reports, supporting QOF achievement, coordinating clinical rotas and appointment templates, and working with colleagues across the practice to ensure data quality and the smooth delivery of patient services.

he postholder will be responsible for supporting the quality and accuracy of patient records and ensuring data is maintained to a high standard across the practice.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and improving the accuracy and quality of patient records.
  • Processing clinical coding requirements and updating records in SystmOne.
  • Supporting Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) achievement through accurate recording and monitoring.
  • Managing patient recall systems and coordinating invitations for reviews, appointments, and investigations.
  • Supporting long-term condition management programmes and annual review processes.
  • Running clinical searches, audits, and reports as required.
  • Coordinating clinical rotas and maintaining appointment templates for GPs, GP Registrars, Nurses, HCAs, and Medical Students.
  • Supporting governance activities, including significant event tracking and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Liaising with clinical and administrative teams to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Contributing to ongoing improvements in data quality, patient safety, and operational efficiency.
