Job summary
Imperial Private Care is seeking a commercially minded and analytically strong Commercial Pricing Manager to lead the development of pricing strategies that support growth, sustainability and innovation across its portfolio of private healthcare services.
Working at the heart of one of the UK's leading academic healthcare organisations, you will play a key role in shaping how services are costed, priced and positioned within an evolving healthcare market. This role combines commercial analysis, strategic thinking and stakeholder engagement, providing the opportunity to influence decision-making at both operational and senior leadership levels.
You will work closely with colleagues across finance, operations, business development and clinical teams, as well as external partners including private medical insurers and consultants. Through robust analysis and commercial insight, you will help ensure services remain competitive, financially sustainable and aligned to organisational objectives.

Main duties of the job
- Lead the development and maintenance of costing, pricing and profitability models across private healthcare services.
- Develop pricing strategies that support commercial growth and financial sustainability.
- Support contract negotiations and pricing discussions with private medical insurers and other commercial partners.
- Undertake market benchmarking, competitor analysis and commercial research to inform pricing decisions.
- Provide financial and commercial insight to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
- Assess the viability and pricing requirements of new services and commercial opportunities.
- Ensure pricing structures are accurately reflected within billing and contract management systems.
- Produce clear and actionable analysis to support senior stakeholders and operational teams.
- Build effective relationships with consultants, insurers and internal stakeholders across finance, operational, clinical and business development functions.
- Contribute to commercial projects that support the continued growth and development of Imperial Private Care.
