Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to join our Vascular Service at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking for a motivated, highly skilled clinician who is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care and helping to shape the future of advanced clinical practice within vascular services.

The successful candidate will be:

Band 8a (or band 7 working through gateways. Willing to consider candidates that are currently completing their training ACP course or progressing through the relevant gateways. Please note any applicants this applies to would commence on a band 7).

Main duties of the job

As an Advanced Clinical Practitioner within the Vascular Service, you will work autonomously as a senior clinical decision-maker, providing expert assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with a wide range of vascular conditions. You will play a key role across all four pillars of advanced clinical practice: clinical practice, leadership and management, education, and research.

Working as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to service development, quality improvement, workforce education, and the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care.
