Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for a Security Officer, required to assist in the provision of Security Services in an extremely busy hospital environment.
The successful candidate will work within a team providing response to security incidents/alarm & fire calls throughout the site. Many response calls you will be required to attend can involve violent and/or aggressive scenarios. In addition, the role includes site patrols, handling of cash, dealing with and assisting the general public, traffic management across the site plus a range of additional duties.

Main duties of the job
- Candidates should be able to perform well within a team, show great enthusiasm and be flexible as the position will involve working on a rotary shift basis.
- Previous experience within a security role and an understanding of what this involves is required. Applicants must have good communication and interpersonal skills and be able to demonstrate a flexible attitude towards their work.

Job description
- To assist Trust management in the provision of effective / efficient Security services using all equipment / resources available to the department.
- To provide essential Fire and Rescue Team response to Helipad as required.
