Main duties of the job

The role holder is responsible for overseeing the safe and effective decontamination and reprocessing of reusable medical devices within Decontamination, ensuring compliance with national guidance You will provide leadership, governance oversight, audit assurance, education, and continuous quality improvement within endoscope decontamination services across sites. Youll also play a key role in launching new sitessupporting the mobilisation of endoscopy equipment and decontamination processes. This part of the role includes regular UK travel and occasional overnight stays.

Job description

We are looking for someone who can. Perform weekly and monthly checks on endoscopy equipment Reporting incidents to the Endoscopy Lead Practitioners as necessary Assist in the clinical audit process Identify any maintenance problems relating to the endoscopy equipment Tracking of endoscopes when sent for repair or maintenance Work on site with the mobilisation team to set-up the new facility Develop and maintaining good communication and relationships with all colleagues within CHEC sites Obtain quotations for minor works and distribute to the relevant person to gain approval from finance Updating our systems and project management tools to ensure complete transparency throughout our business
