We're looking for a Consultant in Palliative Medicine to join our senior medical team and help shape the future of palliative and end of life care across our community.
This is an opportunity to make a real difference, providing expert clinical leadership, supporting colleagues, influencing service development and helping more people access the care and support they need.
Main duties of the job
You're an experienced, compassionate clinician who combines excellent clinical expertise with a collaborative approach. You care about improving services, developing others and delivering person-centred care, ensuring people receive the care that is right for them, when they need it most.
- Provide senior medical input to the multidisciplinary team, supporting patients in the inpatient unit, hospital and community settings
- Take clinical responsibility for the care of patients under your supervision, ensuring safe, effective and personalised care
- Work closely with health and social care colleagues to provide joined-up, seamless care across organisational boundaries, helping ensure patients experience continuity of care
- Contribute to the day-to-day running of the medical service, including clinical administration where needed

Job description
Were looking for a compassionate and experienced clinician who brings both clinical expertise and a collaborative, thoughtful approach to their work.
