Job summary
Longfield Medical Centre is looking for an enthusiastic salaried GP to join our friendly, supportive and forward-thinking practice in the heart of the beautiful market town of Maldon, Essex.
We are happy to consider a range of working patterns and welcome applications from GPs seeking full-time or part-time roles. Working days and sessions are negotiable, and we will endeavour to accommodate individual preferences wherever possible. However, the final working pattern will be agreed to ensure it meets both the needs of the successful candidate and the operational requirements of the practice.
Main duties of the job
You will provide high-quality, patient-centred care through a mixture of face-to-face, telephone and online consultations, working alongside our experienced multidisciplinary team. We are looking for someone who enjoys building long-term relationships with patients, values teamwork and wants to contribute to the continued success of a thriving practice.

We are a well-established semi-rural dispensing and GP training practice caring for approximately 16,500 patients. Our team is led by 7 experienced GP partners, with partners always on-site to provide clinical support and foster a collaborative working environment. We pride ourselves on being approachable, supportive and committed to delivering outstanding patient care.
Rated Good by the CQC and consistently achieving excellent QOF outcomes, we have a stable, experienced workforce and a strong multidisciplinary team, including advanced clinical practitioners, clinical pharmacists, paramedics, physician assistants, practice nurses, healthcare assistants, care coordinator, social prescriber, and an excellent administrative and reception team. This allows our GPs to focus on providing high-quality clinical care while working as part of a truly integrated team.
