Job summary

The Personality and Complex Trauma Team PACT service is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated Band 6 Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our dynamic team. The role focuses on delivering Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) to young people aged 14-25 with complex emotional needs and high levels of distress. You will support those experiencing emotional dysregulation and interpersonal difficulties.

Key Responsibilities o Deliver individual and group DBT interventions o Hold a focused DBT caseload o Complete high-quality clinical and risk assessments o Work collaboratively with young people and families using a trauma-informed approach o Attend DBT consultation meetings and regular clinical supervision o Contribute to the wider PACT team supporting young people with complex needs

PACT is a supportive multidisciplinary team. You will work closely with other CYP services.

What We're Looking For o Registered mental health professional (RMN, Social Worker, OT) o Strong formulation and risk assessment skills o Experience with young people with complex emotional needs o Confidence delivering structured therapeutic interventions o Compassionate, reflective, and resilient practice

Main duties of the job

To support the delivery of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) delivered as part of the Personality and Complex Trauma Team within Children and Young People Division age 14 - 25.

To support the wider Personality and Complex Trauma team with the delivery of a range of supportive interventions using the three stage Trauma Model.

To complete Initial Assessments dependent on service need.

To work flexibly within the service as required.

To provide professional advice and support to other agencies and members of the multidisciplinary team.

To provide compassionate care and improve the wellbeing of Young people through the delivery of excellent clinical interventions that promote recovery and well-being
