Job summary
We are looking for an experienced, qualified dispenser to join the team at Bampton Pharmacy. This role would suit someone who enjoys community pharmacy, works carefully and calmly, and would like a reliable weekly working pattern.
Typical shifts: Weekdays 8.45am - 6.15pm and Saturdays 8.45am - 12.45pm; exact shifts agreed in advance.
Pay: depending on experience

Main duties of the job
What we're looking for
- A recognised Level 2 dispensing/pharmacy services qualification, or accepted equivalent
- Recent UK community pharmacy dispensing experience
- Good accuracy, organisation, communication and pharmacy IT skills
- Confidence dealing with patients by telephone and at the counter, including routine payments and queries
- A dependable, team-focused approach and willingness to work within SOPs and the limits of the role
- Titan experience is helpful but not essential if you are confident learning a new system.
Job description
What you'll do
- Process, label and assemble prescriptions accurately using Titan PMR
- Support prescription collection, telephone and counter enquiries, routine patient and GP practice queries, owing items and deliveries
- Process prescription charges, declarations and other routine payments accurately
- Help keep stock controlled, organised and rotated, including timely returns and expiry checks
- Work closely with the Responsible Pharmacist and wider pharmacy team to keep the dispensary safe and running smoothly
- Deliver a warm, respectful service and refer clinical or safety concerns promptly.
