This is an exciting opportunity to join us in a brand-new role, providing strategic, operational and project management support across the Division and wider Partnership. Working closely with the Divisional Board and Divisional Management Team, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the Division, delivering organisational priorities and identifying innovative ways to improve services.

We are looking for a high-performing, career-driven operational manager who enjoys working in an agile environment and has a passion for delivering meaningful change across primary care. You will need to be resourceful, adaptable and confident in bringing people together to develop solutions that improve patient and staff experience.

Main duties of the job

This is a hands-on leadership and management role, working at a senior level with the Divisional Board and Management Team. You will provide operational and strategic support to help deliver the Division's objectives and ensure priorities are effectively implemented.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing strategic and operational leadership across the Division.
  • Working closely with the Divisional Board and Management Team to deliver key organisational priorities.
  • Leading and coordinating projects and service improvement initiatives across the Division and wider Partnership.

The role requires excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, together with the ability to manage competing priorities and work confidently across different areas of the organisation. Innovation, flexibility and commitment are essential, alongside a genuine interest in improving healthcare services within primary care.

  • Identifying opportunities to improve working practices, efficiency, effectiveness and patient and staff experience.
  • Managing and prioritising multiple projects, ensuring actions are delivered within agreed timescales.
  • Supporting effective workforce and operational management across the Division.
  • Monitoring performance, targets and delivery against agreed objectives.
  • Building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Working collaboratively with the National Modality Business Support Team to develop and implement innovative ways of working.
  • Providing practical support to colleagues and taking a resourceful approach to resolving operational challenges.
  • Supporting the development of a continuous improvement culture across the Division.
  • Identifying opportunities for sustainable change and supporting their implementation across services.
