Main duties of the job

Typical responsibilities include assisting residents in meal selection, maintaining cleanliness and organization in dining areas, and addressing residents' dietary needs. We are seeking candidates who exhibit high standards of personal hygiene, experience in similar dining roles, and preferably have a basic Food Hygiene Certificate. Compassion for delivering culinary services is essential to thrive in this role. Avery Healthcare will cover the cost of a DBS Disclosure check, and eligibility to work in the UK is mandatory.

Ensuring that the standard operating procedures set dining tables. Keeping the front of the house clean, tidy, and well-presented and ensuring dirty crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day. Ensure fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas and replenished throughout the day, as well as finger food and fresh fruit options. Being aware of residents dietary requirements.ABOUT YOUTo succeed in your application, you will live our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful and accountable in all you do.Our ideal candidate must have: Demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene Having experience working in a similar setting, restaurant, or hotel would be desirable A basic Food Hygiene Certificate would be beneficial.
