Job summary
We are looking to recruit a salaried GP for 4-6 sessions under the 2026/27 GP reimbursement Scheme, initially on a fixed term contract with the potential to continue subject to mutual assessment and on-going NHS funding.
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, caring GP with a strong work ethic who shares our view of delivering a high standard of care to our patients.

The successful candidate will undertake all duties and responsibilities associated with a General Practitioner working within primary care. Providing high-quality, patient-centred care to our practice population whilst working as part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team.
Key responsibilities:
- Undertake face-to-face, telephone and other patient consultations as appropriate.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions in line with local and national guidance.
- Make appropriate referrals to secondary care and community services.
- Maintain accurate clinical records
- Administration of letters, test results etc
- Duty GP sessions
- Contribute to quality improvement activities & enhanced service delivery where appropriate
