26.25 Hours per week
Due to partial retirement we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Physiotherapy Assistant on a part-time basis who will work along side our existing Community Outpatient Physiotherapy team based at Redcar Primary Care Hospital delivering physiotherapy to the adult population in the Redcar vicinity.
You will be offered the opportunity to develop both clinical and administrative skills. There is a strong commitment to continuing professional development and we offer excellent clinical supervision, appraisal and opportunity to work closely with specialist MSK physiotherapists in a friendly and supportive environment.
We are looking for an applicant with a keen interest in the rehabilitation of patients.
The role may involve working at one of our 4 main sites.
Main duties of the job
You will give support to the qualified Physiotherapists to provide Physiotherapy treatment to patients attending the Physiotherapy and Hydrotherapy departments, assisting with classes and issuing walking aids.
The team works closely with the Orthopaedics, Musculoskeletal and Spinal Clinic teams
There may be an element of administrative support.
There may be occasions when you will be required to work at one of our other localities within the Tees area.
