Main duties of the job
About the Role
4 - 8 Sessions per Week
You will provide comprehensive primary care services to a diverse patient population and contribute to the ongoing development of our practice.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering face-to-face and telephone consultations.
- Managing acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Supporting QOF and enhanced service delivery.
- Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Participating in teaching and supervision opportunities as appropriate.
- Contributing to quality improvement and clinical governance activities as desired.
About You

Essential
- Fully qualified GP with GMC registration and licence to practise.
- Inclusion on the NHS GP Performers List.
- Strong clinical decision-making skills.

Job description
We are looking for an GP who is able to fulfil all the various aspects of day-to-day general practice at our large surgery in Banbury.
This would include covering care homes/private school ward rounds, supervising GP registrars/F2s and supervising/advising our wide and varied mix of allied health professionals. The right person will have experience in managing their own patient list and assisting with meeting QOF targets.
