ABOUT THE ROLE As an Occupational Therapist Assistant at a Barchester independent mental health hospital, you'll provide practical support that helps us deliver the all-round care our patients deserve. We'll look to you to help our Occupational Therapist work with patients to help them overcome challenges they encounter during their daily activities. As part of your wide range of responsibilities, you'll plan, implement and evaluate group and individual treatment programmes for patients. We'll rely on you to promote or maintain the physical capabilities and independence of each patient you work with, and record interactions and observations when appropriate. As an Occupational Therapist Assistant at Barchester, you'll make a real difference to our patients' day-to-day lives by helping them regain their independence where they can. ABOUT YOU To join us as an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you'll need a Level 2 NVQ related to care or promoting independence, and be willing to work towards a Level 3 NVQ or Level 2 QCF in Healthcare as you work with us. An ambitious and compassionate individual, you'll have previous experience in a care or customer service environment.
