Ifyou're a qualified or almost qualified Therapeutic Radiographer - join the OUH Radiotherapy Centre in Swindon and be part of a dynamic, supportive team dedicated to delivering compassionate excellence.

As aBand 5 Therapeutic Radiographer,you'llplay a key role in delivering safe, high-quality radiotherapy treatment using advanced techniques likeSABR, VMAT and DIBH. You'llwork with an experienced team in a friendly, welcoming environment whereyour development and well-being matter.

Patients are at the heart of everything we do, and we are looking for Radiographers who are dedicated to delivering care with both compassion and respect.

The purpose built, modern radiotherapy centre is equipped with cutting-edge technology including Varian TrueBeams (with 6DoF &RGSC) and a Siemens CT GoSim networked by ARIA. We are a multi-site service with centres in Oxford, Milton Keynes and here in Swindon - three sites, one team!

We'recommitted to your growth with a solid induction and preceptorship programme, and after 12 months of experience post qualifying,you'llhave the opportunity to join our Link Programme to Band 6. Successful completion =automatic promotiontoBand 6!

Main duties of the job

Work as a member of the team of Radiographers covering all sections of the department including mould room, CT scanning, virtual simulation and contouring, delivery of a wide range of both simple and complex treatment and IGRT techniques

Liaising with the multidisciplinary team.

Assist with the day-to-day organisation of a treatment unit to ensure an efficient service is delivered and workload targets are achieved.

Supervise, support & teach junior members of staff and students.
