ABOUT THE ROLE As a Night Senior Carer at a Barchester care home, you'll look after the different needs of our residents to enable us to deliver quality, person-centred care and support. Main duties of the job
As a Night Senior Carer at a Barchester care home, you will manage the diverse needs of our residents, facilitating the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care and support. Your responsibilities include supervising and motivating a team of dedicated Care Assistants, working closely with the Deputy General Manager. You will also assist the clinical team in specific areas such as medication, assessments, care plans, or reviews. We expect you to maintain respect for the dignity and preferences of our residents while contributing to a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment. Candidates are required to hold an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care and have specific knowledge of clinical elder care. We seek individuals who are warm-hearted, compassionate, and dedicated to offering personalized care and support to each resident. Our Senior Care Assistants have the opportunity to advance their careers with ongoing training, with many progressing into roles such as Care Practitioner, Regional Carer, or nursing positions.
