Job summary

This is a senior analytical role within the Talking Therapies Division, focused on using performance intelligence and modern digital tools to improve how services operate, support decision-making and make a meaningful difference to outcomes for people accessing Talking Therapies across Greater Manchester.

Main duties of the job

Working as part of the Talking Therapies Performance Team, the post holder will lead the development, production and continual improvement of high-quality performance analysis that underpins effective operational management, service improvement and strategic decision-making across the Division.

The role combines analytical expertise with leadership responsibility. The post holder will provide line management and professional leadership to analysts within the team, helping to foster a strong performance and information culture across Talking Therapies.

Innovation and development are central to the role. The post holder will actively explore, assess and implement modern digital tools and approaches - including Power BI, SQL, Power Automate, Robotic Process Automation tools and AI approaches - to improve efficiency, data quality and the way insight is delivered to services.

Through robust analysis and clear, accessible reporting, the role will directly support improvements in access, waiting times, equity, recovery and improvement outcomes for people accessing NHS Talking Therapies services.
