Cygnet Healthcare is looking for an experienced Bank Support Workerto join our team working at Cygnet Walkern Lodge.

Youll be workingbank hours,making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care.

Walkern Lodge is a residential home providing care for adults with learning disabilities, who may have behaviours that challenge and associated complex needs.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Driven with a desire to make a real difference in peoples lives
  • Experienced for 1 year plus in a support setting working with learning disabilities and mental health
  • An excellent communicator and a good team player
  • Caring and understanding with the energy required to provide a trusting, stimulating & varied environment
  • Passionate about empowering & supporting service user independence

Your day-to-day

  • Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
  • Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
  • Learn about individuals specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
  • Assist with medical & welfare needs
  • Report on medical & welfare needs as required
  • Safeguard all patients
  • Maintain a safe, clean environment for all
