Job summary
As part of the Occupational Health team the post holder will support the department to deliver high quality, comprehensive and pro active Occupational Health services.
The post holder will primarily be involved in vaccinations, venepuncture, pre employment health assessment, liaising with staff and managers as required.
The post holder will work as an effective team member, assisting in the management and the organisation of work as required.
Main duties of the job
Assist the Occupational Health (OH) Senior Clinic Nurse in the day to day management and provision of OH services to the Trust's and any additional customers.
Manage and prioritise own workload in the day to day delivery of OH services.
Works as an effective team member, demonstrate good personal communication skills and actively promote excellent team and interdisciplinary relationships.
To follow the Trust Medicines policy and departmental policies including Patient Group Directive's (PGD's) / Written Instructions on the safe storage, administration and disposal of immunisation/medication.
