An exciting new opportunity has arisen to support the delivery of our new Wellbeing-Only Referral Pathway.
We are seeking a dynamic, positive, and motivated individual who is passionate about service development and improving patient care. This role offers the chance to lead and contribute to the ongoing development of the Wellbeing Centre, while working as an integral member of the wider Wellbeing Team.
The successful candidate will be proactive, innovative, and committed to delivering high-quality holistic support, helping to shape and enhance our wellbeing services for patients and those important to them.
Main duties of the job
The Wellbeing Specialist will work closely with the Head of Wellbeing and Therapies to develop, deliver and oversee a programme of wellbeing and therapy services which will see the Hospice reach people in the communities in which it serves, and that access to these services is equitable and fair in its reach.
This post is offered on a permanent, full time basis, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm.
Job description
The Wellbeing Specialist will work closely with the Head of Wellbeing and Therapies to develop, deliver and oversee a programme of wellbeing and therapy services which will see the Hospice reach people in the communities in which it serves, and that access to these services is equitable and fair in its reach.
This work will build relationships, links and projects that will:
Ensure equitable access for local communities to St Catherines services and support
Work to broaden access to hospice services, reflected in a change in patient profile that more accurately reflects the local population and ensures we are an inclusive organisation
Develop sustainable and reciprocal partnerships with other organisations and community groups.
You will be part of a multi professional team collectively responsible for planning and delivering responsive, compassionate and effective wellbeing and therapy support to the patients and families referred to StCH. This will include planning, coordinating and facilitating the delivery of group and community settings.
Youll work closely with our Wellbeing and Therapy team, Community, Inpatient Unit and contribute to a positive working environment with an emphasis on innovation, teamwork and co-operation. You will take responsibility for creating and maintaining a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring high quality standards are maintained.
