Job summary
We are looking for a dedicated individual to join the team working in a busy GP Practice.
The successful candidate will be part of a team offering admin support for 16000 patients. The workload is demanding and the successful candidate will need to enjoy a fast-paced environment, think on their feet and be flexible for office cover. The role requires someone with a keen eye for detail and proficient use of IT packages covering the Microsoft Office suite and clinical systems.

Job Purpose:
To provide amin support to doctors, nurses, the Practice Manager and wider clinical and administrative team. To ensure that work is completed accurately and efficiently with all enquiries professionally and courteously handled whilst upholding confidentiality.
Key Areas:
Patient services; Admin support for Clinicians and wider team Key Points:
Managing referrals through the e-Referral system. Understanding referral routes and use of relevant forms and templates
Carrying out assigned tasks from both clinical professionals and the wider team.
Dealing with patient enquiries
Inviting patients into the surgery to discuss the results of recent investigations
Typing of clinical letters, patient referrals, non-NHS letters and reports
Arranging and assisting with meetings including minute taking as required
At all times observe the strict rules of confidentiality
Work within practice policies and guidelines

As part of the Symphonie PCN in Hull and the Yorkshire Coast and Wolds PCN in East Yorkshire, we are a forward thinking organisation striving to provide high quality patient care.
The team is led by 9 GP-partners, supported by Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Nurse-Prescribers, Long-term Conditions Nurses and Healthcare Assistants.
The clinical team is supported by well-trained Care Navigators and Administrators. The Hornsea and Aldbrough sites have in-house dispensaries.
