Mid Hampshire Healthcare (MHH) is looking for a compassionate, motivated and adaptable Registered Nurse (RGN) to join our friendly and expanding clinical team.

This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to work across a range of community healthcare services throughout Hampshire, supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care in a variety of clinical settings. No two days are the same, with the opportunity to develop your skills across multiple services and work alongside a multidisciplinary team committed to improving patient outcomes.

Unlike many nursing roles, this position offers the opportunity to gain experience across a broad range of NHS community services, making it ideal for a nurse who enjoys variety, continuous learning and professional development.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Multi-Service Registered Nurse, you’ll play a key role in delivering safe, effective and compassionate patient care across a range of commissioned services, including: –

  • Enhanced Access Services
  • Proactive Care
  • Women’s Health Services
  • Community Health Bus
  • Long Term Condition Clinics
  • Other commissioned community healthcare services as they develop

Your responsibilities will include: –

  • Delivering high-quality nursing care across multiple Mid Hampshire Healthcare services.
  • Undertaking holistic patient assessments and delivering evidence-based care.
  • Supporting the delivery of long-term condition management, health promotion and preventative healthcare.
  • Carrying out clinical procedures appropriate to your competencies and scope of practice.
  • Working autonomously within agreed clinical protocols and pathways.
  • Supporting multidisciplinary clinics and community-based healthcare services.
  • Maintaining accurate clinical records using EMIS and other digital systems.
  • Providing advice, education and support to patients and carers.
  • Working collaboratively with GPs, Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Healthcare Assistants and wider multidisciplinary teams.
  • Participating in quality improvement, clinical governance and patient safety initiatives.
  • Supporting the development of new services and innovative models of community healthcare.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Compassionate, professional and patient-focused.
  • A confident clinical decision-maker.
  • Adaptable and enthusiastic about working across different services.
  • Organised and able to manage a varied workload.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Passionate about delivering high standards of patient care.
  • Flexible and willing to work across multiple clinic locations to meet service requirements.

Essential Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (Adult) with current NMC registration.
  • Experience working within Primary Care, Community Services or another NHS clinical setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good IT skills, including confidence using EMIS or similar clinical systems.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Willingness to travel across Hampshire.

Desirable

  • Experience within General Practice or Primary Care.
  • Experience using EMIS Web.
  • Long Term Condition management.
  • Women’s Health experience (LARC desirable but not essential).
  • Vaccination and Immunisation experience.
  • Health Checks.
  • Teaching, mentoring or clinical supervision experience.

Why Join Mid Hampshire Healthcare?

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work across a wide variety of NHS services rather than being restricted to a single speciality.

You’ll benefit from: –

  • A varied and rewarding nursing role where no two days are the same.
  • Exposure to multiple community healthcare services and patient groups.
  • Opportunities to develop new clinical skills across different specialities.
  • Supportive clinical leadership and mentorship.
  • NHS Pension.
  • Ongoing professional development and funded training opportunities.
  • The opportunity to shape innovative healthcare services across Hampshire.
