Are you an organised, proactive Healthcare Support Worker (HCSW) looking for your next opportunity?

We are looking for a HCSW to join our friendly team, embedded into our duty team at Hampshire CAMHS New Forest. You will play a vital role in supporting the effective running of the service and ensuring a high-quality experience for children, young people and their families. You role will involve responding to duty enquiries and supporting clinicians in duty reviews.

We are looking for 37.5 hours a week on a Monday to Friday.

Main duties of the job

This role will assist and support the multi-disciplinary mental health clinicians working with the Community CAMHS Team.

The role with include some patient facing work (including both children and families), liaison with wider networks supporting the families, such as school or children's social care and supporting the Team Duty Clinician.

This role will demonstrate excellent communication skills; using these skills to engage with patients with complex and at times challenging needs, as well as communicating in a succinct and clear fashion to the wider team in meetings and through reports.
