Job summary
St Michaels Hospice supports and enables the community of Hastings and Rother to live well with dying, death and loss. Our services are provided via in-patient beds and at home and we also offer Wellbeing support, both out-patient and virtual.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will contribute to developing and maintaining a highly skilled clinical workforce and a strong culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement across the Hospice. The role combines clinical education with quality and governance functions, ensuring that high quality, evidence based, person centred care is delivered consistently.
The Clinical Education and Quality Nurse designs and delivers education programmes, supports clinical governance processes, coordinates quality improvement and audit activity and acts as Deputy Controlled Drugs Accountable Officer (Deputy CDAO).
