Job summary
Respond and manage emergency incidents whilst attending events as an Event Paramedic. Provide specialist, clinical, social, and holistic care to undertake clinical assessment and interventions to those individuals in the out of hospital environment, which may include stadia, concerts, motorsports, road races etc. Will encompass working on both ambulances, solo response and within treatment units.

- Maintain professional registration as a Paramedic and undertake continual professional development relevant to the role; maintaining skill levels and knowledge to enable you to carry out procedures in accordance with JRCALC Guidelines and in accordance with policy and procedures.

- Undertake clinical supervision and mentor new and junior personnel, providing feedback on performance in a constructive and non-threatening manner.
- Carry out duties involving the care and maintenance of vehicles, equipment, and premises. Be responsible for ensuring that all defects and deficiencies of vehicles and equipment are reported using the correct documentation.
- Ensure vehicles and equipment are ready for immediate use at all times and champion responsibility for the cleanliness of vehicles, ensuring that the interior/exterior are maintained to a high standard in line with current IPC recommendations.
- Maintain accurate vehicle and patient documentation including confidential details whilst remaining sensitive to the nature of the information being recorded.
- Conduct dynamic risk assessments when responding to incidents for protection of yourself and others, recognising that the out of hospital environment is often unpredictable and can pose a variety of threats to welfare (physical, environmental, and emotional).
- Ensure appropriate and timely referrals are made to other agencies (including non-clinical referral relating to safeguarding) utilising agreed procedures.
- Perform any other duties commensurate with these responsibilities, the management level of the post and skills and qualifications of the post-holder.
