Main duties of the job

Your role will involve providing everyday support, whether it's enjoying a visit to the local pub or joining someone on a holiday adventure. Activities are personalised, promoting wellbeing and growth. The role offers £13.20 per hour, a refer a friend bonus, fully funded training up to QCF Level 5, and career development opportunities. A Blue Light Card is available, along with company pension support. Ideal candidates are calm, patient, and willing to learn, value consistency, and preferably have previous support worker experience, although this is not essential. You will need at least 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK.

Who youll support:Youll be supporting multiple individuals with learning disabilities at Elizabeth Court in Dorchester, helping them thrive and live as independently as possible. Youll help with personal care and daily routines, while building meaningful, lasting connections. From supporting days out in the community to holidays and new experiences,
Youll ensure their care is truly person-centred, respecting their choices, promoting their safety and helping them do the things they love most.
Your role:
- Provide person-centred support and personal care
- Encourage activities and meaningful experiences
- Support communication in a way that works for them
- Follow care plans and maintain accurate records
- Promote independence, safety, and wellbeing
