Job summary
The role is to:
- Manage the compliance of the contracting team with the obligations of the PA23 and PSR
- Ensure all notices and reports are created and published on schedule Ensure procurements are compliant when published
- Be a first point of contact as the procurement expert in the Trust Ensure statutory obligations are included correctly in all tenders for example Modern Slavery and Green requirements
- Manage KPI reporting Lead on the CCIAF (Commercial
- Continuous Improvement Assessment Framework) and CSE (Customer Service Excellence) accreditation renewals Manage, support and report on team savings targetsPLEASE NOTE: At the time of going to advert, this Job Description is still undergoing consistency checking at AfC and the final banding is to be confirmed.
Main duties of the job
The Procurement and Supplies function comprises Supply Chain, Digital, eProcurement, Warehousing & Logistics, Contracting and Scan4Safety. What you will bring to the role We are looking for a candidate with
- A high degree of specialist knowledge in public sector procurement and in particular the Procurement Act 2023
- Able to have impact on a wider team of procurement colleagues
- Work on their own initiative
- Advising senior management
- Managing procurement risks, compliance and governance to ensure procurement activities are compliant with regulatory and statutory obligations
- Able to analyse performance data and drive improvements
