Community Pharmacist - Bampton PharmacyNHS
Job summary
A community pharmacy role with a different direction. We are looking for an enthusiastic Community Pharmacist to join Bampton Pharmacy as we develop the pharmacy from a strong dispensing base into an increasingly clinical, service-led pharmacy.
The pharmacy is owned by Amicus Health, a local GP partnership. This creates a genuinely unique opportunity to work closely with primary care colleagues, improve the way patients move between general practice and community pharmacy, and help shape services around the needs of the local population.
You will join an experienced core pharmacy team and work with Titan PMR. We want to preserve the team's strong day-to-day problem solving and patient relationships while giving the pharmacist the authority and support to improve workflow, develop people, and expand clinical services.
What makes the role different?
Owned by a GP partnership, our pharmacy offers a unique opportunity for joined up working with GPs, practice pharmacists and the wider clinical team. Youll help grow Pharmacy First and other clinical services, with support to develop advanced consultation skills and potential future experience in general practice. Youll join a stable core team, providing leadership and helping shape service development. Using Titan PMR and efficient workflows, our aim is to release pharmacist time for patient-facing care, backed by the clinical expertise and support of a wider primary care organisation.

A key focus will be developing our clinical services and strengthening joined-up working with Amicus Health GPs, pharmacists and the wider primary care team. You will help identify new service opportunities, develop referral pathways and contribute to audit and quality improvement.
You will provide visible leadership to our experienced pharmacy team, supporting training, development, effective workflow and skill mix whilst encouraging the teams established day-to-day problem solving. You will use Titan PMR and technology to improve efficiency and release pharmacist time for clinical care.
