Job summary

Support the delivery of a high quality Learning and Organisational Development function across the Trust that can deliver the strategy through expert advice, relationships and partnering as well as through well designed products and processes.

Work under the mentorship of Head of Learning and Organisational Development to develop and apply expert contemporary knowledge which supports the design, facilitation and continuous improvement of best practice, relevant and high quality organisational development interventions for Trust staff.

Main duties of the job

o Planning and supporting the delivery of OD development interventions from inception to delivery and evaluation, leveraging external providers and L&OD specialists as appropriate.

o Responsible for the Leading Well team culture and effective team working intervention to include monitoring and support to teams to complete Team Charters and any other interventions required to support team effectiveness.

o Co-leading the function of creating inhouse blended learning courses with the Digital Project Manager (using educational theory) on the My Learning (ML) platform through working with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from inception to launch. This includes all quality assurance and reporting.

o Planning and delivering the core L&OD programme in the Trust working alongside the Leadership & Organisational Development team.

o Supporting delivering of Management and Leadership consultancy service for creation, review and maintenance of both courses created in house and also national agenda driven programmes.

Job description

1) To effectively and efficiently lead and organise, deliver and evaluate core organisational development programmes as agreed e.g. Leading Well, team charter, Management and Leadership modules. This will involve working alongside HRBPs re supporting divisions with team interventions and using staff survey data, PDR etc.

The post holder will be responsible for the delivery, review and analysis of these programmes to ensure they meet the needs of the organisation and align with national agenda e.g. The People Plan.

2) To lead on coaching and mentoring registers held at RSFT to include recruitment, marketing, delivering masterclasses and programmes (including Surrey Heartlands programmes), supervision and quality assurance.

3) To support the development of learning and OD interventions by designing, managing, promoting and delivering learning interventions using educational theories. This includes advising on learning objectives, educational content and methodologies, and mechanisms for learner feedback.
