Job summary

Wirral Child & Young Person Mental Health Service CYPMHS (previously CAMHS) is a therapy-based service which offers support to children and young people with moderate to severe mental health difficulties and their families and carers. We work in close alignment with the Local Authority, education and the voluntary sector. Our aim is to ensure that children receive the right support, from the right service at the right time.

We are a friendly, supportive and committed team, who offer a range of opportunities to staff to develop their skills to improve service provision and most importantly the experience of young people accessing the service

Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will be an experienced clinician who will work closely with CYPMHS leads, eating disorder specialists and members of core CYPMHS (previously CAMHS) to provide assessment and intervention within a multi-disciplinary team. The successful candidate will be committed to help to develop and drive the CYPMHS Wirral 0-18 forward
