Job summary

The BCSP Coordinator will provide high-quality administrative and coordination support to the Bowel Cancer Screening Programme (BCSP), ensuring all relevant patient documentation is accurate, complete and readily available. The post holder will maintain databases and the Patient Administration System (PAS), ensuring information is recorded accurately and in a timely manner.

The role will act as a key point of contact for the BCSP nursing team and provide administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the service. Duties will include managing electronic patient records, booking appointments, maintaining accurate records and supporting the team with administrative tasks as required.

The post holder will work with an external PAS system, with full training provided, and will develop a good understanding of relevant systems and processes.

The role will also support the team's health equity strategy to reduce inequalities and improve access to screening. This will include attending and supporting promotional and community engagement events.
