Main duties of the job

As a Bank Care Assistant, you'll be responsible for ensuring that residents at the Barchester care home receive the necessary quality care and support each day. The role offers variety and the opportunity to engage in different tasks daily, such as supporting residents with meals, following care plans, and dedicating one-on-one time to each resident. The position is designed for individuals who are dedicated, compassionate, and empathetic, with at least some prior experience in caring for older individuals. Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach are essential for success in this role. This position is bank, meaning hours and days of work will vary, typically to cover needs such as annual leave or sick leave.
