Main duties of the job
As a Nursing Community Manager, you will leverage your clinical skills and leadership abilities to provide excellent care to residents at Barchester Healthcare. In collaboration with the General Manager, Deputy Manager, and a diverse team, you will guide nurses and carers to deliver person-centred care fostering dignity, independence, and well-being. You will manage clinical care delivery in your community, maintain accurate care plans, and ensure safe medication management. Your role will also involve mentoring colleagues, encouraging continuous improvement, and promoting best practices within the home. ABOUT YOU To join us as a Nursing Community Manager, you'll need:
Current NMC registration and revalidation At least two years' experience as a Registered Nurse within a clinical or social care setting Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements Experience leading, mentoring and developing colleagues Excellent communication and decision-making skills A commitment to delivering compassionate, person-centred care
