We have an exciting opportunity for aResearch Nurse- Team Leadto lead our dedicated Research Delivery Team at Frimley Health Foundation Trust.
This pivotal role requires a highly motivated and experienced research nurse with proven staff management experience and a strong background in clinical research. You will oversee the delivery of high-quality research across multiple specialities and all Frimley Health sites.

Main duties of the job
The Research Nurse - Team Lead will lead the research delivery team in the management of a diverse portfolio of clinical research studies, ensuring they are set up, conducted, and closed in line with regulatory, protocol, and organisational requirements.
The post holder will
- Oversee all aspects of study conduct, including informed consent, data quality, safety reporting, and compliance with ICH-GCP and the UK Policy Framework.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to maximise patient recruitment, retention, and study performance across multiple specialties.
- Proactively identify and address barriers to study delivery, ensuring targets and timelines are achieved.
- Allocate resources, manage workload, and support staff development through supervision, training, and performance management.
Foster a collaborative culture, working closely with multidisciplinary teams, investigators, and external partners to expand and enhance the research portfolio.
Clinically, the post holder will
- Undertake and oversee patient-facing research activities, including screening, recruitment, and follow-up of participants.
- Ensure the safe administration of study treatments, monitoring of adverse events, and delivery of protocol-specific procedures.
- Maintain accurate clinical and research records and ensuring high standards of participant care and safety throughout the research pathway
