Responsibilities may include fixing leaks, planting new bulbs, working independently, leading a team, and supporting the General Manager with budget planning. Additionally, you will need to communicate with contractors for tasks that your team cannot handle. The position requires a focus on the wellbeing of residents, ensuring all work is performed with sensitivity to their needs. A candidate for this role should have hands-on experience in property maintenance, possess at least one trade skill, and ideally, a proven ability to undertake a wide range of maintenance tasks. Reliability, flexibility with working hours, a full UK driving license, IT literacy, and GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent) are essential.
