Job summary
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join the Catering and Hospitality team at Jewish Cares Adrian Gordon Café at the Sandringham campus. The role supports the delivery of high-quality meals and hospitality services, helping to create a welcoming dining experience for residents, community members, visitors and colleagues. You will assist with basic food preparation, washing dishes and kitchen equipment, maintaining clean and hygienic kitchen and dining areas, preparing dining spaces and supporting meal service and special events. Working closely with chefs and front-of-house colleagues, you will play an important part in ensuring that food and hospitality services are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. This is a practical, people-focused role where your contribution can make a positive difference to the daily experience of those who use our services.

What youll be doing
- Assisting with basic food preparation

- Keeping kitchen and dining areas clean and organised
- Supporting meal service and preparing dining areas
- Helping with hospitality and special events
- Working closely with chefs and front-of-house teams

Working pattern Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday & Sunday
