Ward 515 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and passionate Sister/Charge Nurse to help lead our nursing team. In this pivotal role, you will guide the day to day running of a busy Respiratory ward, ensuring safe, smooth, and high quality care for every patient.

Main duties of the job
The post holder is responsible for upholding NMC professional standards and ensuring highquality, patientcentred care. They will regularly lead the ward or a defined group of patients, coordinating holistic care plans and supporting the overall organisation of the practice setting. Acting as deputy to the Senior Sister/Charge Nurse, they provide leadership in their absence and help develop wardmanagement skills within the team. The role includes setting and monitoring clinical standards, contributing to audit, quality, and riskmanagement initiatives, and actively supporting education by mentoring, teaching, and supervising students and staff across all levels.
