We are seeking a passionate and motivated Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) - Physical Healthto join our dynamic multidisciplinary team and play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

This is an exciting development opportunity for an aspiring clinician who is eager to expand their expertise, influence service delivery, and become a future leader in advanced practice. Working within the Women's Secure Blended Service and Secure CAMHS, you will support the physical healthcare needs of individuals with complex mental and physical health conditions, ensuring they receive holistic, safe, and effective care.

As a Trainee ACP, you will undertake a structured development programme aligned to the four pillars of Advanced Clinical Practice:Clinical Practice, Leadership and Management, Education, and Research. Supported by experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Consultants, and multidisciplinary colleagues, you will develop advanced assessment, clinical decision-making, diagnostic reasoning, and treatment planning skills.

Main duties of the job

  • Delivering high-quality physical health assessments and interventions for patients with complex needs.
  • Working collaboratively with medical, nursing, allied health professional, and support teams to provide integrated care.
  • Supporting the management of long-term conditions and promoting preventative healthcare.
  • Developing advanced clinical skills, including history taking, examination, diagnosis, and clinical management.
  • Contributing to service improvement initiatives that enhance patient outcomes and experience.
  • Supporting education and training across the wider workforce.
  • Participating in research, audit, and quality improvement projects to drive innovation and excellence.
