Main duties of the job
As Care Home Deputy Manager & Clinical Lead of a Barchester care home, you'll support the quality care delivery. In close collaboration with the General Manager, you will take on leadership duties in their absence, including ensuring care standards and team motivation. You'll lead a multidisciplinary team to enhance the quality of life for residents. This entails leading by example and monitoring standards through audits, supervised clinical practice, and regulatory compliance checks. It also involves developing strategies to achieve high standards. You must be a Registered Nurse (RN/RMN) with NMC registration, and possess a teaching/mentoring/supervision qualification. Experience in dealing with diverse health needs and managing safeguarding investigations is necessary, along with HR experience, knowledge of sales and marketing, budget management, and supporting newly qualified nurses.
