We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurses to join our AAU department at Isle of Wight NHS Trust.
This is an exciting opportunity for Band 5 nurses to develop their skills within a fast-paced and rewarding environment, delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
You will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, working independently while supported by experienced clinicians and a strong multidisciplinary team.
Main duties of the job
- Assess patient care needs and develop, implement and evaluate programmes of care without direct supervision
- Deliver care in accordance with theNMC Code of Conduct and Trust policies
- Maintain accurate and contemporaneous patient records
- Demonstrate professional behaviour at all times
- Communicate effectively and courteously with patients, relatives, and colleagues
- Maintain patientcomfort, dignity, and privacy
- Identify and escalate concerns where quality of care or safety may be compromised
- Work collaboratively with themulti-disciplinary team to ensure holistic care
- Support and supervisehealthcare support workers and student nurses
- Contribute to maintaining a positive and inclusive environment promotingequality and diversity
- Engage incontinuous professional development opportunities
