Are you a motivated, inclusive, and compassionate Occupational Therapist looking to make a real difference in the lives of adults experiencing mental health challenges? If so, we would love to hear from you.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Beverley Community Mental Health Team as part of a well-established and supportive multidisciplinary team (MDT).

We are seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist who is passionate about recovery-focused practice and enabling people to live meaningful and fulfilling lives.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilise your specialist occupational therapy skills to assess, plan, and deliver person-centred interventions, both on a one-to-one basis and through group programmes, supporting individuals on their recovery journey. You will play a key role in promoting occupational engagement, independence, wellbeing, and social inclusion.

Main duties of the job

  • As the Occupational Therapy lead within the team, you will provide consultation and guidance to MDT colleagues, supporting the effective triage and management of occupational therapy referrals and helping to identify where occupational therapy interventions can add value to an individual's care and treatment.
  • The successful candidate will benefit from a comprehensive induction programme, access to role-specific training, regular clinical supervision, and a wide range of continuing professional development opportunities. You will also participate in Occupational Therapy professional networks, and CPD activities alongside more than 90 registered Occupational Therapists working across the Trust.
  • This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking team that values the unique contribution of occupational therapy and is committed to supporting staff development, innovation, and high-quality patient care.
