Job summary

We're looking for a confident and approachable MMRV Pilot Administrator to support an important community vaccination pilot across Barking & Dagenham. You'll engage directly with parents and carers, help review children's vaccination records, accurately capture key information, and support families to book any outstanding MMR/MMRV vaccinations. Working across community and clinical settings, this is a hands-on role for someone who is organised, comfortable speaking with patients, and passionate about improving access to preventative healthcare.

The role offers around 15 face-to-face hours per week, with clinics rotating across different sites and times within Barking & Dagenham. Working days will be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate.

Main duties of the job

The role involves engaging with parents and carers, reviewing childrens vaccination records, accurately capturing and updating patient information, and identifying any gaps in routine vaccinations, particularly MMR/MMRV. The postholder will also support families to book vaccination appointments, represent Together First CIC at community clinics, manage basic equipment requirements, and complete daily reporting and relevant administrative tasks.

Job description

As an MMRV Pilot Administrator, you will support the delivery of a community-based vaccination pilot across Barking & Dagenham. The role involves engaging directly with parents and carers, reviewing childrens Red Books with consent, accurately capturing relevant vaccination information, and identifying gaps in routine childhood immunisations, with a particular focus on MMR/MMRV.

You will help families access appropriate vaccination appointments using the Together First CIC booking system, work alongside community and clinical teams, and act as a representative of Together First CIC at local health review clinics. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, completing required reporting, ensuring equipment is ready for use, and working in line with safeguarding, confidentiality and information governance requirements.

This role would suit someone who is organised, confident communicating with patients, comfortable working independently, accurate with data entry, and able to engage sensitively with families from a wide range of backgrounds.
