Job summary
Leading workforce planning activities including forecasting, capacity planning, scheduling and real-time performance management. Producing accurate short and long-term forecasts using statistical modelling and workforce planning methodologies. Developing and maintaining ERLANG-based capacity plans to support operational performance and service delivery. Analysing data from multiple sources to identify trends, risks, opportunities and performance improvement initiatives. Creating reports, dashboards and KPI insights that support effective decision-making across the business. Monitoring forecast accuracy, investigating variances and recommending corrective actions to improve planning outcomes. Collaborating with Operations, Finance, PMO and Change teams to support budgeting, planning and transformation projects. Coaching and developing Workforce Planning colleagues, ensuring high standards of performance and continuous improvement. Challenging existing processes and driving innovation to enhance planning methodologies and operational efficiency.
Main duties of the job
Proven experience across the full workforce planning cycle, including forecasting, capacity planning, scheduling and real-time management. Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel skills and experience using statistical forecasting techniques and ERLANG models. Experience using workforce management platforms such as CXOne, Calabrio, Verint or similar solutions. Excellent problem-solving abilities and confidence working with large, complex datasets to generate meaningful insights. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and present findings to a variety of audiences. Demonstrated leadership capability, including coaching, mentoring and supporting team performance. A collaborative approach with the ability to build strong relationships across multiple departments and functions.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Planning & MI Analyst to play a key role in shaping workforce planning and business performance across our Contact Centre operations. Working closely with operational, finance, change and senior leadership teams, you'll be responsible for delivering accurate forecasting, capacity planning, scheduling and management information that enables informed business decisions. This is an opportunity to combine analytical expertise with leadership capability, helping to drive continuous improvement, optimise resource utilisation and provide valuable insights that support organisational growth. You'll also mentor and develop planning colleagues while championing best practice across the workforce planning function.
