Other responsibilities will include: Supporting the residents with choosing their meal options when dining. Ensuring that the standard operating procedures set dining tables. Keeping the front of the house clean, tidy, and well-presented and ensuring dirty crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day. Ensure fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas and replenished throughout the day, as well as finger food and fresh fruit options.
Main duties of the job
As a Food and Beverage Assistant at Avery Healthcare, you will play a vital role in supporting the dining service and assisting residents with their meals. Your focus will be on providing a positive dining experience, helping residents choose their meals, and ensuring dining areas are clean and well-presented. Responsibilities include setting dining tables according to standard procedures, maintaining cleanliness in the front of the house, and replenishing dirty crockery throughout the day. You'll also ensure that fresh homemade cakes/biscuits, finger food, and fresh fruit options are accessible in bistro areas. Beyond these tasks, you'll demonstrate compassion and commitment to delivering excellent culinary services to residents, while being aware of individual dietary requirements.
